Benefits of membership
Join us as a member today!
Members' subscriptions and donations represent a small but important financial contribution to our charitable work. Perhaps more important to ICA:UK are members' contributions of time, experience, connections and moral support - whether or not they participate in our activities in any practical way.
In exchange, members benefit from a supportive national and international community of a diverse range of people sharing some of their values, interests and concerns. They also benefit from a variety of opportunities to get involved, wherever they are, and so gain skills, experience, colleagues and often friends as well.
In addition to our programme activities, there are four main areas of network activity:
An on-line community
An on-line community provides a forum for dialogue and interchange among network members, by email via the ICA:UKNetwork yahoogroup
ICA:UK Network News
A regular newsletter keeps members informed of activities of ICA in the UK and worldwide, and provides a forum for interchange among readers.
UK Network gatherings
National gatherings of the ICA:UK network are held periodically, including an Annual General Meeting held each January in conjunction with a members' event showcasing one of ICA:UK's programmes and its partners & Associates
The 10th ICA:UK AGM in London, January 23rd 2010, attracted around 40 participants including trustees and volunteers, associates and partners, staff, and other members.
Members also participate in regional and global ICA conferences and interchanges from time to time, including the annual ICA European Interchange.
