This course is designed for all those who use facilitation approaches and methods and who wish to explore the softer skills that are important for the proper choice and delivery of the methods. Whether you are a team leader, manager, director, engagement officer, customer service manager, and whether you are working in business, the voluntary sector or in public service, this course is useful for you
There are no pre-requisites for the course- it can be beneficial both for those with previous facilitation experience of those with none.

Learning Style
The approach of this course is interactive, with inputs from the trainer being followed by opportunities for discussion and reflection by participants. Role plays will be used to create learning experiences, followed by debriefs on the skills shown and on how the situation could have been managed differently.
Learning is supported by a resource pack which includes further reading, tools and techniques and references.
This course can be one or two days, depending on the request of the participants. There are many aspects to Group Facilitation Skills, ranging from how to manage conflict through to how to write on a flip chart.
